Dear Parents/Guardians,

Greetings, I hope our newsletter finds you and your family doing well.

We have reached the midway point in the academic school year. There are many exciting things happening at Smith that we want to share. Evan Simmons, a senior ice hockey player, is going for his 100th goal tomorrow at 5:30 pm against Easthampton. We hope you are able to show your support for such a large accomplishment: RINK ADDRESS.

Our students recently visited Saori Weaving studio to learn the intricate craft of weaving from renowned artist Mihoko Wakabayashi. Students were fully engaged and really enjoyed learning from Ms. Wakabayashi! Here is her instagram post from the day: SA Weave. A big thank you to Mrs. Muellejans for arranging!

A special thank you to the University of Massachusetts Athletic Dept. for inviting our students to a recent girls basketball game. The students were able to visit a division I campus and cheer for our local college athletes! Thank you Mr. Keir and the MS Team for arranging!

We are hosting an educational workshop night on Thursday, March 29 from 6-8 pm. The workshops will cover a range of topics. We will increase our promotion as the evening drawers closer. If you have access to a professional network or individual/group that you feel may support our efforts, please pass the following information to them: SMITH SESSIONS.

Term 2 report cards were digitally distributed at 2 pm this afternoon. Please follow these directions if you need assistance in accessing: E-Report Card

If you have not already done so, please review the MCAS testing schedule for 2018: MCAS Testing Schedule
