SA Varsity Girls Soccer Captains 2022-2023

Congratulations to Keene Jeffress '23, Story Goldman '23, and Haley Springman '23 for being named as the captains for the SA Varsity Girls Soccer Team for the 2022-2023 season! Keene, Story, and Haley were selected by their peers, their coach, their athletic director, and principal as being worthy of the title. They've proven to positively influence their teammates on and off the field/court, and to represent the values and beliefs of Smith Academy within the school, community, and beyond. 

Keene was described by her peers as someone who "supports", "keeps everything positive", " encourages and understands", "motivates people", and "tries to help you be a better player". 

Story was described by her peers as someone who "is a good leader", "pushes people to be their best", "is a hard worker", "communicates well with others", and "is a natural leader". 

Haley was described by her peers as someone who "is a helping hand", "sees a lot of the field", "never talks down to people", "is fun to be around", "is super encouraging and understands your situation" and "is kind".
