Winter Sports Registration - PLEASE SIGN UP NOW

Good afternoon everyone! I have some important news to share:

The Hatfield Recreation Department and Smith Academy are joining forces to make sure that we can provide playing opportunities for ALL individuals who would like to participate in basketball this winter. We would like to offer JV and Varsity teams at the high school for both boys and girls (roughly 18-20 student-athletes for the boys program and 18-20 for the girls program). If numbers allow for it, we would also like to offer a 7th and 8th grade travel team that the Rec. Department would facilitate for middle-school age students who do not make the JV team or who self-select to play on the Rec. travel team instead. The goal is to get as many students as we can playing basketball this winter, regardless of level and/or ability.

With that being said, we know that it's September, but we need you to register for Winter Sports NOW! This way, we can figure out how many student-athletes are interested in trying out, and it will allow for the Rec. Department to do what they need to do to get a 7th and 8th grade travel team going. I have opened FamilyID for registration to start today. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. The deadline to register is FRIDAY, September 30th at midnight. Please don't wait until the deadline to register. Register now! The sooner we know our numbers, the more time we have to prepare our programs, and the better the experience will be for all!
