Dear Families,

  • We have openings in both our before care- BOKs and aftercare programs!!  Starting Monday, November 28 we’re extending our pick up time, at no additional fee, to 5:30pm!  Please contact the office at 247-5010 if you’d like a registration form for either or both of these programs.  

  • Today is the last day- until midnight, to order your Hatfield swag!  Get your holiday shopping done while supporting our kids. 

Orders will be pre-packaged by customer name and can be shipped directly to you, or you can get it shipped to you or pick it up with no shipping charge at the HES pick-up date! The items on this site will begin production AFTER the store has closed on November 18th, 2022. Orders will NOT be fulfilled as they are received. Orders must meet minimum quantities to be fulfilled.

  • Come join us tonight for “Small Foot” hosted by the 5th grade.  Doors open at 5:30 and the movie will begin at 6:00 pm.  Children need to be accompanied by a parent.  $5.00 per person, or $20 for a family.  Concessions will be available for $1.00.

  • A friendly reminder that next week is a short week and we have a half day on Wednesday, November 23rd with an 11:55 dismissal.  There is no school on Thursday, November 24 for Thanksgiving or Friday, November 25th.

  • We welcome families to our All School Meetings each month.  Every month we will have this meeting on a different day of the week and time of day, and hope you can join us.  Mark your calendars,  November’s All School Meeting is Monday, November 28th from 8:30-9:00 am in our cafeteria.

  • Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for Friday, December 2nd and 16th.  These are both half days with an 11:55 dismissal for afternoon meetings with families.  If you have not scheduled a time with your child/ren’s teacher, please contact them soon.

  • Mr. April, our STEM teacher, invites you to a sixth grade student showcase on Tuesday, December 6th from 8:30-9:00 am in our cafeteria.  Students have been working on a statewide STEM challenge where they explored careers in STEM fields through project based learning.   Come see their creative, multimedia products geared towards attracting potential future employees into this field!

  • It’s finally getting cold outside.  Per our handbook, all students will be outside for recess so long as the combined wind and air temperatures are 20 degrees or warmer.  Please dress your child for the weather.

  •  The HES Winter Concert is Wednesday, December 14 at 1:00 in our cafeteria.  Students in second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade will be performing, including the fifth and sixth grade students in the band program.  We encourage families to walk the halls to view our festive classroom doors! 

  • Our school picture retake day will be December 14, 2022 to allow time for families to receive their pictures and to determine if a retake is needed.  Any staff or students who were absent Nov. 1st and 2nd will be photographed then.
