12/15/22 Principal Newsletter

Dear Families,

  • This is coming to you a day early as there’s important information about tomorrow in this, so please read carefully.

    • Tomorrow is a half day for our second day of parent/teacher conferences- dismissal is 11:50 am and bag lunches are available.

    • With the impending weather, we will either be here or we will be canceled, there will not be a 2 hour delay, because of our scheduled half day.

    • If we are here, you have the option of having a virtual p/t conference with your child’s teacher as they will be here at school and can send you a link.  In person will still be available as well.

    • If we are canceled, we will reschedule our afternoon p/t conferences AND the movie night will also be canceled.

  • A huge thank you to both Kristen Planeaux, our music teacher, and Duncan Hurst, district band teacher, for their wonderful holiday concert!  Our students did an amazing job dancing and singing!

  • Now that we have snow on the ground some clarification about recess which will start Monday:

    • To play in the snow students will need snow pants and boots.

    • To walk on the snow, where the wood chips cover, they need boots.

    • All sneakers will be asked to stay on the blacktop.

  • The annual Luminarium is this Saturday, December 17th.  They will be setting up for the fireworks display on Friday, so please refrain from being in the back of the school.

  • We have an All School Meeting on Tuesday, December 20th from 9:00-9:30 in our cafeteria.  Here are the classes presenting:
