Welcome to Smith Academy Middle School!

At the heart of all our actions and decisions is the goal of helping each student learn to his or her full potential. This is reflected in our instruction, assessment, and classroom policies.

This page offers students and parents to access homework assignments and upcoming events, as well as information about our academic expectations and policies.

Writing expectations outlines what final-draft quality assignments should look like when they are handed in. We are in the process of creating a revised writing rubric which we will post when it's ready for implementation.

The homework page is updated daily in the afternoon; if you check before 2:00, the assignments listed will be the previous day's. We offer this page as a back up, rather than a replacement, to the homework assignment journals used in class.
