Homelessness
Students and families experiencing homelessness should notify the school in order to be supported and accounted for appropriately. Homelessness includes but is not limited to: "Doubling Up"- staying temporariliy with a friend or family member, "Staying out"- living outside or in temporary encampments, and youth in foster care.
Students who were living in Hatfield or attending Hatfield Public schools, and become homeless can choose to continue to attend HPS or enroll in the district they are now staying in.
