Spring Happenings 3/25/22

  • Spread the word-we are currently accepting fall registration applications for both Preschool and Kindergarten!  If you are a parent of a PreK child aged 3 to 4 or have a Kindergartener age 5 by September 1st, log onto our website and complete the registration.  A birth certificate is required for Kindergarten registration.  We accept applications until April 22, then we will open available seats to school choice.
  • Friendly reminder of our spring MCAS dates. 
    • ELA - April 12, 13
    • Math-May  17, 18
    • Science (grade 5 only) May 24, 25
  • The Scholastic book fair is scheduled to arrive at HES in the preschool hallway from April 4-8th. The PTA website has links to the bookfair page and more information: https://hatfield-elementary-pta.square.site/
  • Spring pictures are coming to Hatfield Elementary School on Tuesday, April 5th!  Order forms have been provided!
  • Kate McCollough is an 8th grader at Smith Academy and the Project 351 class of 2022  Ambassador for Hatfield. Project 351 is a statewide program in which one 8th grader is selected from each town in Massachusetts to participate and lead service projects. Her first service project is to lead a clothing drive for Cradles to Crayons in our community. Cradles to Crayons is an organization that provides children living in homeless or low income environments with essentials they need to thrive.
