Water Palooza's Back: July 23

June 28, 2022:  Save this date:  Saturday July 23!  

HEADS Up announces the resumption of Water Palooza; a 2 mile walk/ run / get wet family event to be held on Saturday, July 23 stepping off at 10:00 am adjacent to the Hatfield Public Library at 29 Main Street. 

Designed to raise awareness and funds to support community mental health promotion activities in Hatfield, this year’s Water Palooza will feature posters recently designed by Smith Academy art students promoting courage for Children's Mental Health Acceptance Week in addition to positive mental health messages throughout the route.  Water sprinklers, a miniature spray park, and a hillside water slide will also be included.

HEADS Up is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and supporting mental health activities including but not limited to screenings of well-known mental health documentaries such as "Angst", "The Upstanders", and most recently "Race to be Human" coupled with local presenters leading community discussions.
